Company Overview

Sho-Sho-Lo-Za Marketing, established in 1995, is a dynamic, hands-on and inventive company, whose core activity is the management of corporate, promotional, sporting, cause marketing, teambuilding and incentive and travel events.  The trademark of our work is passion, integrity and progressive thinking.  Our team is highly qualified and experienced and their unwavering commitment to all projects is key to our success. 80% Of our customers continue to appoint us year after year and trust us to continue delivering innovative and cost-effective projects and events. We target both small and large corporates and not only offer over 100 years of cumulative marketing experience but  as one of South Africa’s nominated Nation Builders we pride ourselves on the innovative use of the greater community to ensure growth in the entrepreneurial SMME market.

Our services involve special Event Management, Project Management, Product launches, Road shows, Teambuilding, Cause Related Marketing and Corporate travel incentives.  Our USP is that we CARE,  are creative, and aware of our cultural differences and needs.  We relate to our all clients needs and continuously are in touch with those less fortunate and are environmentally aware of the needs of our ever depleting resources. These factors ensure we continue to drive our expertise in cause related marketing as an inclusion where possible.
We were responsible from 2004 - 2008 for execution and management of Cansa Shavathon (A National event to create both awareness and money for Cancer patients and survivors), We have conceptualised and run innovative fundraisers such as Women and Children’s Day (This event supplies both support in the form of money and products to selected children and woman’s homes nationally), Breast Cancer Lunch (This event creates awareness and raises funds for those with breast cancer or survivors who need reconstruction), Take it off for Cancer (raises awareness and collects bras for those women who cannot afford reconstruction or bras after breast cancer), 16 Days of Activism “I am empowered”.

Cansa Shavathon is one of the biggest corporate and social events that is hosted nationally in over 80 shopping centres and 300 corporate sites. In 2008 this event received over 7 million rands worth of media coverage and millions of rands in cash.  As cancer effects 1 in 4 South Africans, this event is important in creating awarenss that this disease has no racial, age or ethical boundaries it can effect anyone at any age. It takes over 300 volunteers, 70 part time employees and 5 months of full time work to create and ensure a smooth running and successful event.

BEE achievements – As we are 51 % black owned and an all girl team of employees we continue to strive to assist and support BEE ethics. We use only black entrepreneurial products when creating invites or incentive teasers. We hire only Black women to assist in our CSI projects.

As more than 50 % of our business is dedicated to CSI projects, this is indicative of the commitment Sho-Sho-Lo-Za  shows towards all social investments. Other than the all of the above mentioned events we are currently in the process of pitching for QASA, Day of Difference, Teachers education.

CSI is a huge focus within our company and we often support local charity events and continue to support both financially in the form of sponsorship and individual support to Bethany House a Woman’s and Children’s home of safety.
